The Scoop on Str8cam Lube

If you follow any number of people in the porn industry on Twitter, sooner or later you are bound to hear the name Str8cam Lube. The main selling point is that it looks and feels like cum and it is supposed to be longer lasting than most other water soluble lubes on the market. After hearing many positive testimonials from people that I know I decided it was time to put Str8cam to the test. I placed my order and within a few days the plain wrapped packaged arrived and it was game on.

Str8cam does look and feel like cum but there is a definite chemical odor to it. For me it does kind of put a damper on the experience but is no worse than the scent of some of the new sex toys that I buy from time to time.  So even though it bothers me it won’t stop me from using Str8cam. The reason being is that the sensation that Str8cam provides overshadows the scent and within a few minutes I don’t even notice it any more. Whether it is stroking hard cock or sticking toys up the ass, Str8cam works amazingly well. I used it during a cam show and really pushed it to the limits. Thrusting thick rubber toys in my ass and jerking off requires a lot of lube to do either of them comfortably.

Str8cam lasts about as long as other water based lubes before drying up but the main difference is that it doesn’t get sticky. Most water based lubes tend to turn to glue once they dry where Str8cam just gets dry. You can feel that you need another squirt but your hand or toy isn’t sticking to your skin. It even comes right off of keyboards and furniture without leaving any residue of film behind as well. Cleanup is super easy with just a bit of water and a clean towel.

One other downside for me is the bottle. The pump has to be pressed all the way in to secure it from randomly pumping out lube in my suitcase. I have to waste an entire pump just to pack up my Str8cam for travel. Yes they offer travel packets and small 2 oz travel bottles but then I would have to be tearing them open every time I needed a fresh squirt of lube and the smaller bottles just aren’t as economical as buying the larger size. Also once your hand is covered in lube it is difficult to hold the bottle and pump it without it slipping or using two hands. I prefer one-handed application of lube with a squeeze bottle with a flip-top cap. For these reasons I will most like repackage my Str8cam in old bottles of previous brands of lube that I have used in the past.

The real test is when you use Str8cam for several days in a row and then switch to another brand of lube. I couldn’t figure out what it was but then I realized that the lube being used wasn’t Str8cam and it definitely impacted the level of pleasure I would have received otherwise. The following day I gave myself a little self love with Str8cam and it felt so much better. This is why I will continue to use Str8camLube even if there are a few minor quirks with it and its packaging. Is Str8cam a new revolution in personal lubricants? It is definitely a step above all other water based lubes that I have used and I have no problems recommending it to everyone for every type of sexual play that requires a water based lube.
